Brenda E. Woodbury

Brenda E. Woodbury of the Tuscarora Nation, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2020, in the Encompass Health & Rehabilitation Hospital, Erie, PA.   A member of the Bear Clan, born in Niagara Falls, NY on August 3, 1962, the  daughter of Mary [Anderson] Woodbury and the late Joseph Woodbury, Sr.

Brenda graduated from Niagara Wheatfield High School and Niagara County Community College in 1982.

She was a Registered Nurse with Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center for over 30 years before retiring in 2014.

Brenda was a member of the Tuscarora Baptist Church.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, attending her nieces and nephews sporting events, had a great sense of humor and an even greater faith in God.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her brothers Joseph Woodbury, Jr. and William Woodbury, sisters Betsy (James, Jr.) Bissell and Candy Woodbury and was the aunt of Joseph Woodbury, III, Nicole Printup, Benjamin Woodbury, James (Arien) Bissell, III, Jeffrey (Heather) Bissell  and Jon Bissell, also 10 great nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Sugar.

Funeral services will be held at a future date at the Tuscarora Baptist Church

Private interment was in Mt. Hope Cemetery, on the Tuscarora Nation.
