Callie Harris, 90, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2024. Born on September 6, 1934, in Greenville, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Jessie and Belle Purdue.
 

Callie worked in various roles, but her most fulfilling was as a private home care provider. A devoted mother of four, she extended her love to many in her community, becoming a cherished “Granny” and “Mom” to neighborhood children. Her warmth and kindness touched everyone she encountered.

She was predeceased by three of her children, Clairetha Ferguson, Michael Ferguson, and Debra Perry.

… She is survived by her only living child, Tracy Perry, and a host of loving grandchildren: Ashley Carter, Carlos Ferguson, Rahsheena Jones, Tasheen Perry, Stephanie Fynn, Tyrone Perry Jr. (Tasha Perry), Davon Perry (Jenny Perry), Kamesha Perry, Rasha Harris, Ray Harris (Tatianna Harris), Shanika Perry, Shawn Morris, Isiah Bradley, Mia Betton, and Jada Ware and many loving great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
 

Callie’s memory will live on through the countless lives she impacted.

Visitation on Friday October 18, from 10-11AM at True Bethel Baptist Church, 2820 MICHIGAN AVENUE, Niagara Falls, NY, where services follow at 11AM
