Calvin L. Wroten

Calvin L. Wroten of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022.  He was born in Columbia, SC on April 29, 1974, a son of  Kay [Wroten] Oliver and William B. Bell.

Calvin moved to Niagara Falls with his family in 1976. He graduated from Niagara Falls High School and Niagara County Community College. Calvin was a case manager for various youth placement shelters in the area.   He served as a minister at Refuge Temple of Lockport and was an avid Chicago Bears Fan.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by four daughters Katerra Faulks, Dominique, Deja and Cali Wroten, a sister Crystal Bell, a brother Justin Bell and was the uncle of Justice, Shiane and Amir, his former wife Rowena Wroten, also several additional aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews.

His family will be present on Monday from 11-1:00 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 1124 Ontario Avenue, NIAGARA FALLS, NY.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022,  at 10:00 AM at the Freedom Church, 5676 Beattie Avenue, Lockport, NY.

Flowers are gratefully declined for the visitation,  but will be accepted for the memorial service at church.
