Carol Ann Stynes

Carol Ann Stynes of Lewiston, NY, passed peacefully,  surrounded by her family on August 11, 2021,  at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital.   Carol was born in Niagara Falls, NY on February 22, 1941, the daughter of the late Jack and Kay [Henderson]  Schramek.

She graduated  from Lewiston Porter High School in 1959.    After raising 4 children, she graduated from Erie Community College as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant and was employed at Nazareth and other skilled nursing facilities in the area,  assisting elderly residents.

Carol was an excellent cook and outstanding parent, as well as a master-gardener.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years Thomas F Stynes,  four children Anita (Sean),  Brenda, Thomas J. (Chris) and Joseph, also her  cherished grandchildren Kayleigh, Hope, Jane, Claire, Thomas II, Megan. Jack, Charles and Lennier, a sister Gale VanNiel, also many nieces and nephews.

A remembrance of Carol and her life will take place on Saturday, August 21,2021, from 7-9 PM,  at the RHONEY HOME, 901 Cayuga Street, LEWISTON, NY.
