Clarice E. Becker

Clarice E. Becker of Sanborn, NY passed away on  Saturday, January 8, 2022, at her home under the loving care of her family and the wonderful nurses of Niagara Hospice.  She was born in Niagara Falls, NY on August 5, 1932, daughter of the late Edwin and Lydia [Walck]  Ferchen.

Clarice graduated from Niagara Falls High School. She was employed with the Niagara County Office for the Aging for many years before retiring.

Always known for taking the scenic route, Clarice enjoyed the journey as much as the destination.  If she wasn’t in her backyard gardening, Clarice was most likely visiting with the family she loved so much whether near or far.

Clarice was the wife of the late Wilfred W. "Bill"  Becker, who passed away in March of 2011. She is survived by  three daughters Barbara (Gregg) Gross, Diane (Gary) Marshall and Cathy (Kevin) Freiert, five grandchildren Derek (Viviana) Robinson, Heather (Mike) McCullen, Jamie (Luis) Roger, Amber and Taylor Marshall, five great grandchildren Ethan, Matthew and Jacob Robinson,Harper and Lennon Roger, two sisters Joyce (late Eugene) Coddington and Dorothy (late Robert) Jenneve,  also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, 6637 Luther Street, Niagara Falls, NY.

Memorials may be made in her name to Holy Ghost Lutheran Church or Niagara Hospice.

Interment in Holy Ghost Cemetery.
