Cynthia Helen McDowell

Cynthia Helen McDowell 68, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on December 3, 2025.

She will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose warmth, humor, and strength touched everyone who knew her.

Cynthia worked throughout her life in customer service, food service, and the auto industry, where her strong work ethic and willingness to help others made a lasting impression on coworkers and customers alike.

Outside of work, she found joy in life’s simple pleasures—working on puzzles and crosswords, taking walks, sharing her thoughts and opinions, and cheering on her favorite Buffalo sports teams.

Her greatest happiness came from spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she loved deeply and spoke of often.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of Cynthia’s life on Saturday, from 10-12:00 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY.
