Damien M. “Bear” Mt. Pleasant

Passed away on Thursday May, 11, 2023, at his residence.  He was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on October 15, 1978, the son of Helene “Jeep” Roy and the late Douglas Mt. Pleasant.

Damien lived in Saskatchewan before moving back to Buffalo in 1994.

He was a sandblaster with Skrlin Coating and Blasting for many years and later became a custodial cleaner with the Seneca High School in Buffalo.

Damien enjoyed spending time with his boys and playing games.

Besides his mother, he is survived by his sons Kaleb, Ryan and Carter Mt. Pleasant, his former wife Tina  and was the brother of Michelle Hummel, Vivian, Douglas Mt. Pleasant, Marcus and Richard “Pogo” Rickard, also many nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Dwight Mt. Pleasant.

His family will be present on Monday from 11-12:00 PM at the Tuscarora Indian Mission, 4901 Walmore Road, Sanborn, NY, where Funeral Services will follow at 12:00 PM, with the Rev. Donald Robinson officiating.

Interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery, on the Tuscarora Nation.
