DARYL J. GLEATON

Of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at home under the care of his family and Niagara Hospice.  He was born in North Tonawanda, NY, on February 15, 1956, the son of the late Grover L. and Shirley (Cardwell) Gleaton.

Daryl graduated from Niagara Wheatfield and attended Niagara County Community College.

He was a self employed truck driver as well as a heavy equipment operator and mechanic.

Daryl enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, gardening,and playing the guitar. He was an avid sportsman and would help anyone with any type of mechanical questions they had.

Daryl is survived by his wife of 44 years Debra M. [Boerdner] Gleaton, two children Andrew (Letia McKinney) Gleaton and Adrianna (David Evert) Gleaton, two  grandchildren Winter-Snow Gleaton and Sage McKinney, his mother in law Fay (late Frank) Markle,  and  was the brother in law of Crystal (Roger) Krantz, Richard (Judith) Boerdner and Nadine (Scott) Addenbrooke.

He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and his beloved  great dane Zara.

He was the brother of the late Bruce and Larry Gleaton.

Family will be present at the family's home on Monday, October 24, 2022, starting at 4PM, to share memories and celebrate his life.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, 11/12/22 at 3PM at  St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 3921 Mapleton Rd,  North Tonawanda, NY  14120.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to Niagara Hospice.
