Donald P. Grimmer, Sr.

Of Wheatfield, NY passed away on September 7, 2024. He was born on May 27, 1927, in Buffalo, NY, son of the late Raymond and Irene [Schultz] Grimmer.

Mr. Grimmer served with the US Navy during World War II. After returning from the service he became a stockbroker  with various companies over the years. 

 He enjoying singing in a barbershop quartet and playing golf.

He was the husband of the late Dolores M. (Litwiller) Grimmer, who passed away in May of 2022. 

Mr. Grimmer is  survived by his children Marc (Libby), Michael, Donald (Maxine) Grimmer, Kathleen (John) McKeon, Gregory,  James (Gail), Linda (Barb Buchnowski) Grimmer and was the father in law Donna Grimmer and Henry Olejniczak, also many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

He was the father of the late Carole Olejniczak, Dale and William Grimmer, brother of the late Robert, Richard and David Grimmer.

Private funeral services will be held at the wishes of his family, with inurnment in the VA National Cemetery Corfu, NY.
