Dorothy A. Jourdain

Dorothy A. Jourdain of Lewiston, NY, passed away on  Sunday, June 27, 2021, under the care of her family and Niagara Hospice.  She was born in Niagara Falls, NY on May 29, 1943, a daughter of the late Vincent and Anna [ Porta] Robis.

She graduated from Niagara Falls High School. 

Mrs. Jourdain  was the administrative assistant to the Superintendent of the Niagara Falls Board of Education and later was employed with Geico Insurance for many years .

She was an active member of the St. Francis Guild and loved spending time with her family and enjoyed traveling.

Mrs. Jourdain was the wife of the late Matthew  Babisz and Gary L. Jourdain.

She is survived by her three sons Vincent G. (Kim McCaslin), David J. (Jouly) and John M. (Jennifer) Jourdain, five grandchildren Gianna, Dominic, Francesca, Juliana and Victoria, also many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Mrs. Jourdain was the sister of the late James Robis, Rose Civiletto and Nancy Forcucci.

    
Her family will be present on  Wednesday  from 4-8 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 901 Cayuga Street, LEWISTON, NY.

Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 9:30 AM at St. Peter's Church, 620 Center Street,  Lewiston, NY.

Memorials may be made in her name to Niagara Hospice.

Entombment in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Grand Island, NY.
