Edith A. Printup

Edith A. Printup of the Tuscarora Nation, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2019, at her home under the care of her family and Niagara Hospice.   She was born in Buffalo, NY, on December 17, 1928, the daughter of the late Harry and Emma [Judd] Bissell.

Mrs. Printup was employed with the local vineyards, a cook at Jay's Place and as a seamstress with Seneca Niagara Casino for over 10 years, before retiring.  She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed going to Bingo.

Mrs. Printup was well known for her beadwork and for her bake goods, especially her pies.

She was the wife of the late L. Lloyd Printup, who passed away in 1991.

Mrs. Printup is survived by her children Ronald (Elizabeth) Printup, Wanda Printup, Donna (Clint) Olive and Cynthia (David) Harms, eight grandchildren Rachel (Turhan), Melissa, Stacey, Joshua, Bethany, Kimberly, Kelly (Jay) and Cynthia (Brett), ten great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Alfred, Harold, Joseph, Gladys, May, Caroline and her twin,  Mary.

Her family will be present on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 1:00 PM.

Memorials may be made in her name to Niagara Hospice.

Interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery on the Tuscarora Nation.
