EDWARD HARRIGAN

Of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Wednesday May 31, 2023, in Northgate Heath Care Facility.  He was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on December 20, 1931, son of the late James and Gertrude [Swaim] Harrigan.

Mr. Harrigan was employed with Great Lakes Carbon for 37 years, retiring in 1992.

In his youth he was a boxer. He enjoyed spending time with his family at their camp in Greenwood and was an avid sportsman and Bills Fan.

He is survived by his wife Julia A. (Kilmer) Harrigan, children Brian (Michele) Harrigan, Patrick (Angie) Harrigan and Michele (Mark) Mergeler, grandchildren Andrew and Katie, great-grandchildren Jasmine and Elijah,  a sister Maryann Ivey, also several nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late James, Francis, Michael, Thomas, George, David, Robert, Elenor Tickett, Patricia Eames and Janet Metro.

His family will be present Sunday from 2-6 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 1124 Ontario Avenue, NIAGARA FALLS, NY.

Everyone is invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 10:00 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Parish,  Prince of Peace Church, 1055 South Military Road Niagara Falls, NY.

Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
