Edwin L. Chatmon

EDWIN L. CHATMON

Of Niagara Falls, NY passed away September 23, 2021 at the age of 65.  He was born the son of the late Dallas and Mary Maggielin (James) Chatmon.

Mr. Chatmon grew up on 56th street in Lasalle and graduated from LaSalle High School.   After high school, he started his family and career in Elmwood Village, Buffalo.   He completed the Cast Metals Institute Program and later returned home to Niagara Falls.   He was employed as a steel worker at North American Höganäs Co., until his retirement.

Edwin is survived by his daughters Kimberly (Cory) Schilling,  April Chatmon,  Andria (Brandon) Rudolph, sisters Josetta and Noreen Chatmon and Merdia (Fred) Myles, brothers Norwood Chatmon, Grandchildren Mariah, Isaiah, Jasmine, Mario, several nieces and nephews,

He was the brother of the late Paul, Jerome, Isaac and Joseph Chatmon, Ella Katherine (Jacob) Williams, and Barbara Ann (Allan) Douglas.

He also had two Grand Dogs Barkley and Myles 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 11-12PM at Bacon Memorial Presbyterian Church, 166 59th Street Niagara Falls, NY, services follow at 12PM.

At the request of the family,  please wear face masks and practice social distancing.

Interment in Oakwood Cemetery.
