Edwin W. Tupper
Of Ransomville, NY, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at his home under the care of his family and Niagara Hospice. He was born in Needham, MA, on October 13, 1929, a son of the late Oscar and Ida Tupper.
Edwin grew up in Canada before moving to Niagara Falls.
He served with the US Army during the Korean War.
Edwin was employed with International Paper and Tam Ceramics.
He was a member of St. Johnsburgh Fire Company, the Niagara Rainbow Woodcarvers Association, the Lewiston Woodcarvers, The American Legion O. Leo Curtis Post # 830, Ransomville, the Lewiston and Wheatfield Seniors.
Edwin was on an Honor Flight for his military service.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and also traveling.
Edwin was the husband of the late Dorothy M. [Weber] Tupper, who passed away in 1994.
He is survived by his dear friend Kathleen Miller, his children Brian Tupper, Muriel (David) Norwich and Brenda (Dean Banks) Adamczyk, a sister Muriel Keddy, nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was the father of the late Robert and Bruce Tupper and the brother of late Willis, Nolan and Terrance Tupper and Valera Hoeksema.
His family will be present on Saturday from 1-3 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, followed by a memorial service by the St. Johnsburgh Fire and Military Honors.
Memorials may be made in his name to the Ransomville Ambulance Fund.
