Ellen Jo Edgette

Of Kenmore, NY, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024, at Buffalo General Medical Center.  She was born in Niagara Falls, NY on January 24, 1948, a daughter of the late Charles J. and Dorothy A. [Spiro] Edgette.

Ellen Jo was a graduate of Madonna and the Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center X-Ray School.  She started her career as an X-Ray technician and worked in various hospitals in the area,  ending as a Nuclear Medicine technician with the Buffalo Medical Group for many years.

Ellen Jo loved spending time with her family and helping others.

She is survived by her dear companion John C. Newman, MD, siblings Carol (Bob) Rossi, Peter (Molly) and Arthur (Pat) Edgette, also many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

Ellen Jo was the sister of the late Charles W. (Sue), Paul, Judith Edgette and Dorothy Bigham.

Her family will be present on Thursday from 4-8 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 901 Cayuga Street, LEWISTON, NY.  All are welcome to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 10:00 AM at St. Mary of the Cataract Church, 237 4th Street,  Niagara Falls, NY.
