Elsie M. Bateman

Elsie M. Bateman of Niagara Falls, NY passed away April 23, 2021.  She was born in Toronto, Ontario on March 14, 1927, daughter of the late Frederick and Alice (Taylor) Paddon.

Mrs. Bateman was employed as a Pension Specialist at Carborundum.   After retiring she volunteered at Mount St. Mary's Hospital.

She enjoyed playing cards, gardening and traveling with her husband.

Mrs. Bateman was the wife of 60 years to the late Gordon E. Bateman, they were married on September 10, 1949 in Toronto.

She is survived by her children, Patricia Lisowski son, Paul (Donna) Bateman,grandchildren Karen (Bryan) Meeker, Janelle Lisowski, Kate (Gary) Golombek, Brian Bateman, great-grandchildren Bucky, Ayden, Akela, Chloe and Kaiden,  sister Jacqueline Kemp,  several nieces and nephews.

She was the grandmother of the late Mark Lisowski. 

Private Services held at convenience of her family.

Memorials in her name may be made to Niagara Hospice House.
