Frances L. "Faye" Finley

Of Sanborn, NY, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2023.  She was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on July 4, 1940, the daughter of  Orlando and Anna [Gleydura] Carlini.

Faye graduated from Niagara Falls High School, attended Marietta College in Ohio and later graduated from NCCC with her Nursing Degree.

She was employed at  Moore Business Forms, Memorial Medical Center and as a  BOCES school nurse, as well a full-time mom of five kids.

She was an active parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church for over 50 years where she was a  member of the Rosary Altar Society and the Bingo kitchen.

Faye was a Girl Scout Leader for many years and loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed cooking and gardening.

She was the wife of 41 years to the late Donald F. Finley, who passed away in 2003.

Faye liked nothing more than visiting with her children  Mark (Leigh Ann),  Leslie,  David (Kathy),  Mike "Teko" (Janet) and Joe (Julie) Finley, fourteen grandchildren  Jamie, Alex, Abby,  DJ, John, Chrissy, Gwen, Dominick, Sarah, Olivia, Joey, Bella, Rachel and Anna, seven great grandchildren, her siblings Sonny (Peggy) and Larry (Andi) Carlini, Dolly (late Jack) Singer and Elaine (Drake) Davis, also many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Jeanne (Ed) Lamb.

Her family will be present  Sunday from 2-6 PM  at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, Sanborn, NY.  Everyone is invited to her Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 10:00 AM, at Immaculate Conception Church, 4671 Townline Road, Ransomville, NY, with the Rev. James R. Bastian officiating. 

Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to the Immaculate Conception Church, the Girl Scouts of WNY  or NCCC Foundation.

Interment in the North Ridge Cemetery.
