Freda V. Bowman

Formerly of Youngstown, NY, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026, in  Our Lady of Peace. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on January 26, 1941, the daughter of the late Fearon and Muriel [McWhirter] Muncaster.

Mrs. Bowman was employed with the Carborundum Company in the Abrasives Division and as a belt cutter, later with Toys R Us at the Summit Park Mall. She enjoyed going to the Casino and shopping.

Mrs. Bowman was the wife of the late James F. Bowman, who passed away in December of 2005, they were married on August 11, 1958. She is survived by her children Tammy (Mike) Pardee, Jim (Jeane) Bowman, Tina (Scott) Marin and Joe (Patti) Bowman, also nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Her family will be present on Friday, March 27, 2026, from 3-7 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, Sanborn, NY, where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM, with the Rev. Matthew Kofahl officiating.

Interment In Acacia Park Cemetery.

Memorials may be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Hospital or to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center
