Gene DuMoulin

Of Youngstown, NY, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024, in Kenmore Mercy Hospital.  He was born in Niagara Falls, NY on November 15, 1949, the son of the late Joseph and Antoinette [Clement] DuMoulin.

Mr. DuMoulin attended Sacred Heart School, graduated from Trott Vocational High School and Ventura Community College.

He served with the US Army during the Vietnam War.  

Mr. DuMoulin had lived in California before moving back to Youngstown in 1992.

He was a heavy equipment operator with Modern for over 25 years before retiring.

Mr. DuMoulin enjoyed spending time with his family and playing pool.

He was the husband of the late Christine T. [Moran] DuMoulin, who passed away in 2003.

He is survived by his children Daniel (Christine) DuMoulin, Christine A. and Laura E. DuMoulin, Jason (Marisa) Olson and Jennifer (Michael) Kimball, a sister Sally (Ted) Lipniarski, also nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

His family will be present on Wednesday  from 4-6:30 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 901 Cayuga Street, LEWISTON, NY, followed by funeral services at 6:30 PM.
