George J. Bush

Of the Town of Cambria, NY, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025. He was born in South Union Township, PA, on January 7, 1937, a son of the late John and Mary [Mickey] Bush.

Mr. Bush was an engineering manager with Carborundum and later with Washington Mills for over 40 years before retiring. He had lived in the Town of Cambria for the past 65 years, where he served as a Town Councilman for 23 years and was instrumental in establishing the Town’s Little League and the Town Park. Mr. Bush also served on the Niagara Wheatfield School Board. He enjoyed studying of US Presidents, Golfing and building model sail ships. 

Mr. Bush was the husband of the late Pauline V. [Barry] Bush, who passed away in 1996. He is survived by two sons Shaun (Robin) and Mark (Terry) Bush, three grandchildren Brittany (Jonathan Hrusovsky), Keegan and Kameron Bush, two brothers John (Irene) Bush and Louis (Nancy) Cardamone, also several nieces and nephews.

His family will be present on Friday from 3-7 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5983 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY.
