George Gardham "Gary" Chormann, Jr.
Of Lewiston, NY, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2022, in Mt. St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, NY. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on February 7, 1938, the son of the late Jane [Baker] (late Carl) Chormann Richmond and George G. "Bud" Chormann, Sr.
Gary was an Eagle Scout and one of sixteen, to represent the United States in a European tour in 1956.
He graduated from LewPort and received his Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Washington University and his Masters from the University of Arizona at Tucson in Architecture Engineering.
Gary was an engineer with Bell Aerospace from 1967-1976 and became a Stress Analyst with MOOG from 1976 until retiring in 1997.
He is survived by his daughter Kristin (Sven Vahsen) Chormann, two grandsons Peter and Paul Vahsen, two sisters Jane Lynn (late James) Holt and Susan (Nicholas) Minicucci and was the uncle of Lura Kingston, Molly (John) Phillips, Trae (Jennifer), Michael (Amanda) and Matthew (Cassie) Minicucci, also many great nieces and nephews.
He was the former husband of the late Vicki [Pellicano] Chormann.
Private funeral services were held at the wishes of his family, with interment in Riverdale Cemetery.
