Glenda "Jean" J. Griffith

Of Lewiston, NY,  passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024, in Mercy Hospital of Buffalo.  She was born in Niagara Falls, NY on July 15, 1947, a daughter of the late Glenford and Elizabeth [Lamb] Franke.

Mrs. Griffith was a graduate of LaSalle High School and was employed with the IRS in Austin, TX for over 16 years, after retiring she moved back to Lewiston in 2015.

She was a member of the Lewiston Seniors, volunteered with the Care-n-Share Food Pantry and enjoyed traveling.

Mrs. Griffith is survived by her son Robert M. (Sylke) Morawic, her siblings Suzanne (Jonathan) Schultz, Tammi B. (Steve) Kozlowski and Kevin (Helena) Franke, Thomas Hopper, three grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Bruce Hopper.

Private funeral services were held at the wishes of her family.

Memorials may be made in her name to Care-n-Share Food Pantry.
