Gloria J. Carlisle

Of Sanborn, NY,  passed  away on  Friday, September 29, 2023, in Northgate Health Care Facility. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on January 10, 1928, a daughter of the late Floyd and Helen [Post] Treichler.

Mrs. Carlisle graduated from LaSalle High School and was employed with Niagara Wheatfield High School in the school's cafeteria.

She was a member of the Sanborn American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

Mrs. Carlisle enjoyed spending time with her family and doing ceramics.

She was the wife of 68 years to the late Ronald F. Carlisle, who passed away in February of 2015.

Mrs. Carlisle is survived by her children Wayne D. (Desiree) Carlisle, Diane (Gregory) DiNezza and Cynthia (late Gary) Crook, five grandchildren Melissa (Trevor) Bannister, Michelle (Kenneth) Kuriscak, Tayler (Sean) McCarty, Cody (fiance Kayla Schippert) Carlisle and Zach (fiance Akaijah Harvey)Carlisle, six great grandchildren Julia, Madeline, Morgan, Marianna, Odesza and Payton,  a sister in law Nancy Treichler, also many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late  Donald Treichler.

Her family will be present on Tuesday,  October 10 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM, at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday , October 11 at 11:00 AM, with the Rev. Brad Delp officiating.

Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made in her name to the Community Bible Church, 4168 Church Road, Lockport, NY  14094.

Interment in Mt. View Cemetery, Town of Cambria, NY.
