Helen M. McKean

Helen M. McKean of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on  Monday,  September 27, at her home under the care of her family and Niagara Hospice.  She  was born in Elma, NY on October 10, 1939, the daughter of the late Irving and Margaret [Rotterman] Schaub.

Mrs. McKean was the wife of the late John E. McKean, who passed away in November of 2017.

She is survived by her children Laura (Mark) Laurrie, Lisa (Ray) Granieri,  Brian (Maria) and Christopher (Ben Stump) McKean, nine grandchildren  Matthew, Katherine and Michael Laurrie, Erin,  Emily (Christian Adamson), Nicholas, Timothy  McKean, Bennett and Lauren Granieri, a sister Julia (Lyman) Lowery, a brother William (Nancy) Schaub, and  sister-in-law  of Kathy, Mary Kay and Sue Schaub, Barney (late Josephine) and Timothy (Mary) McKean,  also  many nieces and nephews. In addition to her family,  she was lovingly cared for by Rosie Matheson, Sherry Osman, Kari Hart and Jaclyn Grace.

She was the sister of the late Catherine (Vince) Kelchlin, James (Gayann), Edward, Thomas and Francis Schaub and sister in law of the late Richard (Betty) McKean.

Private funeral services were held at the wishes of her family.

Memorials may be made in her name to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY  14094.

Entombment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
