STEVENSON, Jacilyn M.

Of Williamsville, NY, passed away Friday, November 10, 2023, in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital.  She was born in Buffalo, NY on February 6, 1937, a daughter of the late Victor and Thelma [Merrall] Mittlefehldt.

Mrs. Stevenson graduated from Bennett High School.

She moved to Wheatfield in 1965 until relocating to Ashland, KY in 1982 and moved back to the area in 2017.

Mrs. Stevenson was employed with the Starpoint School System and later with Harts Department Store in Ashland.

When living in Ashland, she volunteered at the Kings Daughters Medical Center and was a member of the First Presbyterian church in Ashland and at St. Paul's United Church of Christ at Shawnee.

She loved to travel throughout the United States and Europe.

Mrs. Stevenson was the wife of 65 years to the late Ronald E. Stevenson who passed away in August of 2021.

She is  survived by her children Mark and Robert (RubyAnn) Stevenson and Diana (Guy) Richardson, five grandchildren Philip, Scott (Kirsten) and Eric (Hannah Ball)Richardson, Nicholas (Freya) and Hayley (Graham Whiteman)  Stevenson, a great-grandson Soren Stevenson, also several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Stevenson was the sister of the late Eugene (Marion) and Marilyn Mittlefehldt and Mary Jane (Edward) Heinrich.

Her family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday at 11:00  AM at St. Paul's United Church of Christ - Shawnee, 3921 Mapleton Road,  North Tonawanda, NY, with the Rev. Ronald Lord officiating.

Memorials may be made in her name to St. Paul's UCC.

Inurnment in Wheatfield Cemetery.
