Of Lewiston, NY, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 28, 2025, with her steadfast companion, Michael, at her side.
Jackie was born in Lewiston, NY on November 26, 1970, preceded in death by her Father Hon. John F."Jake" Halpin, her Mother Nellie [Taylor] Halpin, her Brother John A Halpin, and Sister Monica Halpin.
Jackie earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science from Bowling Green State University and worked in the field for many years. Her love for nature shaped her life, her work, and the way she cared for the world around her.
Jackie lived with a spirit that sought adventures and found beauty everywhere. She was never happier than when she was sailing the waters on the Niagara River and Lake Ontario, chasing the horizon with wind in her hair. Those who knew her can still picture her there, fearless, joyful, and intensely alive, hoping for one more perfect sunset.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years Michael who was her rock and the love of her life, her sisters, Connie (Darryl Morton) Casillas, Katherine (Steve) Bennett, Megan (Chris) Bartolomei and her twin Mary Halpin, also many nieces and nephews and her pup Lila.
We take comfort in imagining her welcomed home by her late family and her beloved dogs River, Huckleberry, and Lola, bounding toward her with tennis balls and endless affection.
Private funeral services will be held at the wishes of her family.
Memorial may be made in Jackie's name to the Niagara County Chapter of the SPCA or Meals on Wheels at WNYfeedmore.org.
