James H. Britton

Of Ransomville, NY, went to his heavenly home with Jesus on  September 30, 2024.  He was born in Niagara Falls, NY on August 20, 1947, the son of the late John and Florence [Proefrock] Britton.

Jim is survived by his beloved wife Connie, his children Jim (Jennifer) Britton, Teresa Hearn and his late son Eric, five grandchildren Henry, Stella and Reuben Britton, Cody and Christopher Hearn, siblings Barbara (late Nelson) Dockstader and Robert (Kathleen) Britton and the late Jackie Anderson and Larry Britton, also several great grandchildren, brother in laws and sister in laws, nieces and nephews.

Jim was employed at Union Carbide for 20 years, drove truck for many years and loved farming.

He adored his grandchildren who visited him almost everyday.

Jim enjoyed restoring tractors in his shop and looked forward to hunting with his father-in-law every season.

He attended Community Bible Church and looked forward to Pastor Delp's visits when he could no longer attend.

His family will be present on Sunday, October 6, 2024, from 2-6 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY.  Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:00 AM at Community Bible Church, 4168 Church Road, Lockport, NY, with the Rev. Brad Delp officiating.

Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made in his name to the Community Bible Church or to St. Peters Lutheran School, 6168  Walmore Road, Sanborn, NY.

Interment in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
