Of Sanborn, NY, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, in Mt. St. Mary's Hospital. He was born in Buffalo, NY on July 11, 1938, a son of the late Steven and Bessie [Dolan] Magyar.
Mr. Magyar served with the US Army during the Vietnam War. After returning from the service, he moved to Sanborn in 1966.
He was a machine operator at Harrison Radiator in Lockport for over 40 years before retiring in 1996.
Mr. Magyar enjoyed playing golf and attending and watching NASCAR Racing.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Karen A. [Krueger] Magyar, his children Wayne E. (Ani Hoover) Magyar and Wendy L. (Kevin Heckman) Magyar, a sister Linda (Bill) Gailie, a sister in law Fran Magyar, also many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Magyar was the brother of the late Steven Magyar.
Private funeral services will be held at the wishes of his family.
