JANE P. ALDEN

Of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Monday, July 3, 2023, in Elderwood at Wheatfield. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY on November 9, 1938, a daughter of the late Mitchell and Nellie [Smist] Patronski.

Mrs. Alden was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School and was employed with Carborundum for many years.

After retiring, she became a Foster grandmother with HANCI. She enjoyed her cats, reading and doing arts & crafts.

Mrs. Alden was the wife of the late Gordon  Alden, who passed away in 2004.

She is survived by two sons, Paul and Christopher (late Darla) Commisso, a daughter Maria (Andrew) Martin, six grandchildren Andrew (Stephanie) Martin, Kathryn (Alex) Rieske, Amanda (Brent) Feuz, Kelli, Shawn and Carrie Commisso, a brother Tony (Kelly) Patronski, a sister Dorothy (Ronald DeSchalit) Boager, a sister-in-law Gloria Patronski, six great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Alden was the sister of the late Mitchell (Ann) and Theodore Patronski, Mary (Frank) Signorelli, Joanne (Alfred) Ford, Linda (Richard) Dougherty, Barbara Reid and Sharon Lapp.

Her family will be present on Friday from 3-4:30 PM,  at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME,  901 Cayuga Street, LEWISTON, NY, with Funeral Services to follow at 4:30 with the Rev. Jan Burnett officiating.
