Janice E. Zemla
Of Sanborn, NY, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022, under the care of her family and Hospice Buffalo. Janice was born in Plymouth, PA, on April 6, 1933, a daughter of the late James and Emma [Righter] Carpenter.
Mrs. Zemla moved to Sanborn with her family in 1967.
She was a devoted donor to many military based organizations.
Mrs. Zemla loved taking care of her family, cooking, watching sports and traveling. She especially enjoyed being by the ocean and was an avid Buffalo Bills and Sabres fan.
She was the wife of 57 years to the late Alfred F. Zemla, who passed away in 2010.
Mrs. Zemla is survived by her children George (Lori) Zemla, Dennis (Robin) Zemla, Douglas (Cheryl) Zemla, Cheryl Potter, Vicki L. Renkas, Sondra J. and Christine M. Zemla, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, seven living siblings, also many nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Alfred "Butch" Zemla, grandmother of the late Joshua Renkas and four late siblings.
Her family will be present on Friday from 4-8 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM.
Flowers are gratefully declined, memorials may be made in her name to Hospice Buffalo.
Interment in Wheatfield Cemetery, Town of Wheatfield, NY.
