Jean Rothwell

Formerly of Gainesville, FL, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024.  She was born in Old Lyme, CT, on July 22, 1927, the daughter of the late Norman and Helen [Waterhouse] Rassmussen.

Mrs. Rothwell grew up in Connecticut and later moved to Florida.

She was the wife of the late Chester Rothwell.

Mrs. Rothwell is survived by her children Michael Rothwell, Valorie Utley, Carol (Jamie) Gordon and Jeannine Holas, twelve grandchildren, ten great grandchildren,  three great great grandchildren, also many nieces and nephews.

She was the mother of the late Chester Rothwell and Linda Adams, sister of the late Marie Davison, Harvey and Charles Rassmussen.

Her funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Florida National Cemetery,  6502 SW 102Rd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513.
