Jeannette K. Terry

Jeannette K. Terry of the Town of Wilson, NY, went home to be with the Lord that she loved on Sunday, December 15, 2019, at her home under the loving care of her family and Niagara Hospice.    She was born in Binghamton, NY, on March 5, 1934, the daughter of the late Elias VanValkenburg and Helen [Ketchum] Barvinchak.

She was the sister of the late Sonny and Richard Vanvalkenburg and Sharon Cofini.

Mrs. Terry graduated from the Eastern Bible Institute ( now known as Valley Forge Christian College.

She was an LPN with the Sullivan County Nursing Home and various health facilities and was an active member First Assembly of God in Niagara Falls, NY.

Mrs. Terry enjoyed camping, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, gardening and was an avid reader.

She was the wife of 58 years to the late Rev. Keith K. Terry, who passed away on November 4, 2012.

Mrs. Terry is survived by two sons Keith R. (Danielle) Terry and Kevin D. (Brad White) Terry, two daughters Linda R.H. (late Charles) Chaney and Melody Joy (Joel) Wilkins, seven grandchildren Jeremy, John, Amy, Andrew, Alison, Rebecca and Patricia, seven great-grandchildren Abby, Ethan, Raiden, MacKenzie,  Roman, James IV and Amberlee,  also many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Sonny and Richard Vanvelkenburg and Sharon Cofini.

Her family will be present on  Wednesday, December 18, 2019  from 4-8  PM   at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY.   Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM at First Assembly of God, 9750 Niagara Falls Blvd., Niagara Falls, NY, with the Rev.  Jim Armpriester and Rev. Chris Cooper officiating.

Flowers are gratefully, declined.   Memorials may be made in her name to the First Assembly of God,  Missions Funds, 9750 Niagara Falls Blvd., Niagara Falls, NY  14304.

Interment in Plainmont Cemetery, East Montpelier, VT.
