Joan M. Hahn

Of the Town of Cambria, NY, passed away peacefully  on Saturday, July 16, 2022, surrounded by her family.   She  was born in Amherst, NY,   on July 23, 1937, a daughter of the late Aloysius and Margaret [Brunner] Henel, Sr.

While she grew up in Williamsville, Joan spent most of her life in Cambria where she and her husband farmed for 30 years, raising cattle, fruit and vegetables and ran Hahn Farms Market on Lower Mountain Road.

In her spare time, Mrs. Hahn cared for her extensive flower gardens, loved to cook, and enjoyed doing the book keeping for her business.

She was the wife of the late John M  Hahn, who passed away in August of 2003.

Joan was the devoted mother of Deborah (Matt) Foe, Sandra (Bruce) Danielewicz, Richard (Kim) Hahn and Susan(Richard) Hahn, much loved grandmother of Sara DelaPena, Scott and Mark Danielewicz, Gabrielle Literman and Cameron Wallaber, great grandmother of John DelaPena and Juliana Literman, sister of Bertha (late Wilbert) Regnet, Aloysius (Pam) Henel, Jr., also many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Franklin (Marilyn) Henel, Doris(Edward) Knab, and Rita(William) Heim.

Joan's family will be present on Friday  4-8 PM from at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY.
Friends are invited to attend her  Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 9:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 4671 Townline Road, Ransomville, NY, with the Rev. James R. Bastian officiating.

Flowers are gratefully declined.  Memorials may be made in her Joan's to Niagara Hospice.
