JOANNE N. ROGERS

Formerly of North Tonawanda, NY, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2023, in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. She was born in Buffalo, NY,  on December 30, 1937, the daughter of the late Norman and Edith [Parks] Tague.

Mrs. Rogers was a graduate of Kensington High School.

She was a bus driver with Ridge Road Express for  20 years, retiring in 1989.  After retiring, she became a  volunteer at DeGraff Memorial Hospital  for over 17 years.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, camping and watching old movies.

Mrs. Rogers was the wife of the late Robert Rogers, who passed away in March of 2011.

She is survived by her children Susan M. (late David) Dodge, Sally A. (Louis) Bradley,  Robert W. Rogers, Richard E. (Diana) Rogers,  four grandchildren Eric (Nicole) Coram, Louis (Holly) Bradley, Michael (Angie) Rogers and Robert Rogers, four great grandchildren Connor, Leah, Alena and Mason, also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Her  family will be present  on  Wednesday from 2-5 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where funeral services will follow at 5:00 PM, with the Rev. Ronald Lord officiating.

Memorials may be made in her name to St. Paul's United Church of Christ - Shawnee.
