JOHN M. "MIKE" ZIPP
Of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2022. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY on September 30, 1944, a son of the late John and Mildred L. [Back] Zipp.
Mike graduated from Niagara Falls High School and Bryant and Stratton.
He was an accountant with the Niagara Gazette for 42 years from 1964 until retiring in 2006.
Mike also volunteered his time at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center for many years. He was an avid Buffalo Bills and Yankees fan.
He is survived by his brother Gregory A. (late Patricia) Zipp, a niece Christina (Jason) Carter, two nephews Gary (Nicole) Zipp and Gregory Zipp, great nephews Cole and Jackson Carter, Liam and Owen Zipp, great-nieces Francesca and Luciana Zipp, also many cousins and his loyal canine companion Fred. Mike was the owner of his late dogs Stubby and Chico.
Visitation on FRIDAY from 4-6PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 1124 Ontario Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY.
Entombment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
