Of the Town of Cambria, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2026, under the care of his family and Niagara Hospice. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on October 20, 1946, the son of the late Raymond and Vernette [Bayne] Genter.
Mr. Genter was a graduate of Wilson High School in 1964 and served with the US Air Force during the Vietnam War.
He was the Region Sales manager for Fel-Pro Gaskets for over 20 years before retiring.
Mr. Genter was an avid sportsman, a member of the NRA and enjoyed mowing his lawn.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years Sue Ann [Stahl] Genter, his children Justin I. Genter, II, Jeremy I. (Carrie) Genter, Faith Genter, Ann (Corey) Burger, Richard (Crystal) Bixby, Catherine (Damen) Jenkins and David (Shannon Bixby, grandchildren Michael, Julianna, Kelly Ann, his brother Thomas "Tag" Genter, his former wife Cindy Genter, also many additional grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mr. Genter was the brother of the late Rayann F. "Sis" Genter.
His family will be present on Thursday from 6-8 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, followed by Military Honors.
