Katherine A. "Kutty" Siola

KATHERINE A. "KUTTY" SIOLA

Of the Town of Wheatfield, NY, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at Niagara Hospice House, Lockport, NY.  She was born in Niagara Falls, NY on February 26, 1926, a daughter of the late Pawel and Rozalia [Dzazga] Smist.

Mrs. Siola was a proof reader with Moore Business Forms for many years.

After retiring, she enjoyed spending time with her family, making cookies,  doing jigsaw puzzles, Jumble, watching birds out of the window, reading on her Kindle, wintering in Florida and her daily ice cream treat.  So the next time you are enjoying some ice cream, take a moment to remember her.

She was the wife of the late Stanley  Siola, who passed away in 1994.

Mrs. Siola is survived by her children Richard (Molly) Siola, Carol Antonucci, Christine and Patricia Siola, her grandchildren Kristen (James) Pyra, Anthony Antonucci, Erin (Peter) Graves and Holly (Kevin) Carroll and "Great Kutty" to Natalie, Laura, Logan, Hayley and Keegan, also many nieces and nephews.

She was the mother of the late Kathleen and sister of the late Ted, Felix and Stanley Smist and Irene Maxsom.

Private Funeral Services were held at the wishes of her family.

Memorials may be made in her name to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY  14094.
