KATHLEEN M. VENNE

Of Lewiston, NY,  passed away on January 9, 2023, in Niagara Hospice House. She was born in Newark, NJ, on November 29, 1946, a daughter of the late Anthony and Doris [Millard] Hellwig.

Mrs. Venne moved to Lewiston in December of 1987.

She was employed with DiMino's Tops in Lewiston for over 25 years as wrapper in the meat department.

Mrs. Venne loved spending time with her family and organizing family events with her extended family members. She enjoyed cooking, baking and camping.

Mrs. Venne is survived by her husband of 45 years Dana C. Venne, Sr., her children Dana C. (Karen) Venne, Jr., Claudene (Mike) Skoda, Kathleen (David) Mazol, April (Jason) Mandaville and Donna (Michael) Attardo,  a son in law Timothy Heller, siblings James Hellwig, Linda Scott, Carol Colie, Adrienne Kershaw and Ardale (George) Cornell, also fifteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

She was the mother of the late Anne Heller, sister of the late Lawrence, Daniel, Anthony, Dennis, Roberta, Lenore and Norman Jean.

Her family will be present on Thursday from 3-7 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 901 Cayuga Street, LEWISTON, NY, where funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM, with the Rev. Andrew Lauricella officiating.

Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials  may be made in her name to Niagara Hospice.

Interment in St. Bernard's Cemetery.
