Of Lewiston, NY, passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2025, in Buffalo General Hospital, after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on May 22, 1954, a son of the late M. Joseph and Stella [Tracinski] Bartos.
Kenny was a graduate of Bishop Duffy Class of 1971 and Niagara University Class of 1975.
He was a supervisor with the Niagara Falls Bridge Commission for over 41 years before retiring in 2018.
Kenny enjoyed listening to music while cooking meals for his family and friends, golfing, fishing, cooking, doing his daily crossword puzzle, watching his beloved Yankees and Bills, attending NU Basketball games with his family and wintering in Florida after his retirement.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Loyal Order of Moose.
Kenny is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years Linda [Castek] Bartos, his loving children Joseph Bartos and Emily Bartos, Poppo of Lennox Bartos, two sisters Mary Ann (Theodore) Casamento and Henrietta (Jack) Ingham, also many nieces and nephews.
His family will be present on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 901 Cayuga Street, LEWISTON, NY.
Everyone is invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 11:00 AM at St. Peter's Church, 620 Center Street, Lewiston, NY.
Memorials may be made in his name to Niagara Hospice, Diamonds in the Ruff Animal Rescue and Upper Mountain Fire Company.
Interment in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
