Kevin A. Young, Sr.

Of Lewiston, NY, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025, in Niagara Hospice House.  He was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on June 24, 1943, a son of the late Arnold and Dorothy [Holmes] Young.

Mr. Young grew up in both Medina and Lockport. He graduated Lockport Senior High School and Erie County Community College.

Mr. Young owned and operated the Bakery Restaurant from 1969, until retiring in 2022.  He was also the manager of the Seneca Niagara Casino restaurants and the Buffalo Launch Club.

Mr. Young loved playing golf with his friends year round and was jack of all trades being able to fix anything.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years Valerie J. [Waz] Young, two sons Kevin and David Young, also several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Young was the brother of the late Shannon Young.

Private funeral services will be held at the wishes of his family, with inurnment in Holy Trinity Cemetery.

Memorials may be made in his name to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
