Lawrence Bidak Obituary


Of  Youngstown, NY, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2025, at his home under the care of family and Niagara Hospice.  He was born in Niagara Falls, NY on March 26, 1945, a son of the late Michael and Mary S. [Mustari]  Bidak.

Mr. Bidak graduated from Niagara Wheatfield High School and served with the US Air Force during the Vietnam War.

He was the transportation coordinator for Russer Foods, then became the logistics coordinator for Costanzo Bakery and was also employed  at Home Depot for several years. Mr. Bidak also owned and operated America Hobby Time in Niagara Falls for many years.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years Beverly M. [McGee] Bidak, two sons Dean C. and Sean M. (Tish) Bidak, two grandchildren Ayla Rose and Shane A. Bidak, also many nieces and nephews and his companion,  Bear.

Mr. Bidak was the brother of the late Frederick and Michael Bidak and Constance Bucci.

His family will be present on Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 9-10:00 AM at St. Bernard's Church, 218 Hinman Street, Youngstown, NY, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, with the Rev. Luke P. Uebler officiating.

Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made in his name to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY  14094.
