Lisa A. Tonemah

Lisa A. Tonemah of the Tuscarora Nation, passed away September 6, 2022, in Mt. St. Mary's Hospital.  A member of the White Bear Clan, she was born in Lewiston, NY, on August 23, 1964, a daughter of Donna E. [Woodbury] Tonemah and late Theodore C. Tonemah.

She was care giver to her mother and loved spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her siblings David (Victoria), Randall,  Beth (Michael) Dreadfulwater, Darryl  (Carminda), Gary  and Loren (Jennifer) Tonemah, also many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Her family will be present on Friday from 6-8 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY.

Lisa's funeral services  will be held on SATURDAY at 11:00 AM at the  Tuscarora Baptist Church, 2208 Mt. Hope Road, Sanborn, NY, with the Rev. Walter A. Printup, III officiating.

Interment in  Mt. Hope Cemetery, on the Tuscarora Nation.
