Of Niagara Falls NY, passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2025, in Our Lady of Peace. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on February 5, 1937, a daughter of the late John D. and Helen R. [Pierce] Marshall.
Mrs. Henwood was a graduate of St. Mary's High School. She owned and operated the Henwood Hotel for many years and was later employed with the Niagara Falls Board of Education, the City of Niagara Falls, and as an administrative assistant with the Rhoney Funeral Home, before becoming the Vice President of operations with Jensco for the next 12 years, before retiring.
She was a member of the Elk's Lodge, the Professional and Business Women's Association and the LaSalle Yacht Club.
Mrs. Henwood was the wife of 65 years to the late William A. Henwood, who passed away in January of 2021.
She is survived by her children Daniel (Brenda) Henwood and Debra Taylor, four grandchildren, fourteen Great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter, also many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Dorothy (Stanley) Tubinis, Monica (Fred) Bidak , Michael, Jack and Leo P. (Victoria) Marshall.
Private funeral services will be held at the wishes of her family.
Memorials may be made in her name to the Salvation Army.
Interment in Acacia Park Cemetery, Town of Pendleton, NY
