Marie K. DiaPaul

Of Sanborn, NY, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, in Niagara Hospice House, Lockport, NY.  She was born in Pasco, FL,  on February 11, 1945, a daughter of the late  Edward and Catherine [Barthle]  Zajac.

Mrs. DiaPaul graduated from St. Mary's Business School in Buffalo.  She was a sales representative with various stores in the area before becoming a librarian with the Sanborn-Pekin Free Library for the past 12 years.

Mrs. DiaPaul was devoted to taking care of her family.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed painting.

Mrs. DiaPaul is survived by her husband of 59 years Ralph  DiaPaul, three sons Lawrence, Joseph, David (Debbie) DiaPaul, a daughter Valery (Stephen) McCarthy,  two brothers John (Karen) and Timothy (Diana)Zajac, two sisters Teresa (James) Cappara and Patricia (Ralph) Colucci, eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late James Zajac.

Her family will be present on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 901 Cayuga Street, LEWISTON, NY, where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:15 AM followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 PM at Immaculate Conception Church, 4671 Townline Road, Ransomville, NY.

Interment at Mt. View Cemetery, Town of Cambria, NY.
