Mark Sylvester

Of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2023, in Memorial Medical Center. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY,  on November 13, 1959, the son of the late Robert and Charlotte [Dublin] Sylvester.

Mark graduated from Niagara Falls High School and served with the US Army from 1979-1990. After returning from the service he was employed with several businesses in the area. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, traveling and music.

Mark is survived by his wife of 43 years Cheryl E. "Elaine"  [Acoff] Sylvester, two daughters Schuanna Allen and Shayla Sylvester, six granddaughters Jamilia, Jahquanna, J'Kyla, Ayame, Amya and Denise, three great-grandchildren Keyaree, Legend and Jamar, Jr., two brothers  Greg and Francesco Sylvester, two sisters Martina (Al) Brinson and Rosemarie (Jim) Hillson, also  many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was the brother of the late Keith, Robert, Beverly, Linda, Mary and Veda.

His family will be present on Saturday from 11-12 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 1124 Ontario Avenue, NIAGARA FALLS, NY, followed by funeral services at 12:00 PM.
