Martha A. Rich-Blazosky

Formerly of Lewiston, NY, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at her daughter's home in Battle Creek, MI.  She was born in Niagara Falls, NY on June 14, 1928, a daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine [Reele] Granata.

Martha was a teller with M&T Bank for many years.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and aunt, who enjoyed spending time with her family.

Martha was an avid baker and took immense satisfaction in teaching and passing on Sicilian family recipes.

She was a gifted quilter and spent her free time crocheting and donating hats for newborns and quilting blankets for the elderly.

Martha found joy in playing cards with family and her community.

She was a member of the Lewiston Senior Center and St. Peter's Church.

Martha was a special woman who brought warmth and love to all who had the privilege of knowing her and will be greatly missed.

She was the wife of the late Harold J. Rich and the late Peter Blazosky.

Martha is survived by her daughter LuAnn Reed, son-in-law Irvin Mease, a sister Elena Zona, five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was the mother of the late JoAnn Mease and sister of the late Joseph Granata, Josephine Mele, Mary Christman, Stella Muldoon and Laura "Dorothy" Stockwell.

Her family will be present on Friday, April 12, 2024 from 3-7 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 901 Cayuga Street, LEWISTON, NY, where funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 9:15 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Holy Family of Jesus Mary and Joseph, St. Joseph's Church site, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY.

Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
