MARY ELIZABETH "BETH" GRANIERI

Niagara Falls, NY 

Mary Elizabeth “Beth” Granieri, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2025. Born in Hazleton, PA, on May 31, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Cormac and Frances (Brady) Conahan.

Beth moved to Niagara Falls with her family in the 1940s and was employed for several years at Lambert’s Auto. Her greatest achievement was simply who she was — a caring and thoughtful person to everyone she encountered throughout her life. A devout Catholic, she was a longtime member of the former Sacred Heart Church and later St. Joseph’s Church. 

She was married for 55 years to the late Raymond R. Granieri, who predeceased her in 2016. Beth is survived by her children: Ray (Lisa) Granieri, Kelly (Brad) Mundt, and Kathy Granieri; her son-in-law Matthew Barmasse; and her beloved grandchildren: Kiele (Nick) Barbalate, Hailey (Brian) Junke, Miller (Casey Liberty) Barmasse, Bennett and Lauren Granieri, Luke, Ella,
and Kate Kenyon, Nathan and Anna Mundt. She also leaves behind her cherished great-
grandchildren: Hudson, Cooper, and Theodore.

She is also survived by her brothers: Cornelius (Theresa), Gerald (Rita), and Patrick (Carol) Conahan; and many nieces and nephews. Beth was predeceased by her daughter Kim Granieri, her sister Frances Hickey, and her brother Cormac Conahan.

In accordance with her family’s wishes, a private Mass of Christian Burial will be held.
