MARY L. "CINDY" SMITH
Of Lewiston, NY, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2022, in Elderwood at Grand Island. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on January 26, 1950, a daughter of the late John D. and Mary H. "Bettie" [Hoshal] Goodall, Sr.
Cindy was a graduate of Madonna and Niagara University.
She was a case worker with Niagara County Department of Social Services for 35 years, before retiring in 2010.
Cindy loved spending time with her family, especially her grandsons.
She stayed in close contact with Madonna class mates of 1968 and was an avid reader.
Cindy is survived by her husband of 45 years Alan Smith, a daughter Gillian (Steve) Harrington, two grandsons Owen and Reece Harrington, a sister Barbara (James) Scinta, a brother John D. Goodall, her aunt Suzanne Dokey, also many nieces and nephew and cousins.
Her family will be present on Thursday from 3-7 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 901 Cayuga Street, LEWISTON, NY.
Everyone is invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 9:30 AM at St. Mary the Cataract Roman Catholic Church, 259 Fourth Street, Niagara Falls, NY.
Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made in her name to Love, Heart Soul.
Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery Lewiston, NY.
