Of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on September 30, 2016. He was born in Rome, NY, on June 29, 1978, the son of Rhonda A. (Kevin) [Lindsay] O'Shea and John E. Cummings 

Matt was employed as a pipe fitter for the IBEW Local 2104 at the New York State Power Authority. He enjoyed fishing, sailing, camping and being in the outdoors with his family.

Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife Sarah D. [Rendina] Cummings, children Mariah E. Long, Samuel J. Long and Julia L. Cummings, brothers John E. Cummings, Nicholas D. (Alyssa) Cummings and Michael A. (Alicia) O'Shea, sister-in-laws Tiffany (Carlos) Bradberry, Meggan C. Rendina and Maria R. Rendina, grandparents Milton J. (late Mary) Lindsay, Mitzi Cummings, Dorreen Michailof and Anthony J. Rendina, mother-in-law Robin J. Rendina and father-in-law David A. Rendina. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

His family will be present on Tuesday from 4-7:00 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 1124 Ontario Ave., NIAGARA FALLS, NY, where services will be held at 7:00 PM, with Msgr. Thomas J. Moran officiating.
