Matthew S. Sanoian

Matthew S. Sanoian of the Town of Lewiston, NY, passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2021.   He was born in Amherst, NY, on May 25, 1998, the son of Cynthia M. Sanoian and Bruce Spira.

Matthew graduated from Lewiston Porter in 2016 and attended SUNY Brockport. Matthew’s passion was composing music.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister Sydney Rose Spira, grandparents Sarkee and Patricia Sanoian, George and Joan Spira and was the nephew of Patricia (Tobin) Gormley, Michael (Jill) Sanoian, the late Matthew R. Sanoian and a faithful companion his dog Persy.

Matthew was a kindhearted compassionate young man who always saw the good in people. He was a loving son, brother, grandchild, nephew, and friend who always put a smile on your face. Matthew loved so many and was loved by so many more. Matthew’s energy was such that with just one encounter, you would remember him for life. Our beloved Matthew who touched so many lives will never be forgotten, but forever remembered and missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.

His family will be present on Sunday from 3-6 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 901 Cayuga Street,
LEWISTON, NY, where funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:00 am with the Rev. Cole Webster
officiating.

Memorials may be made in his name to Niagara SPCA, 2100 Lockport Road, Niagara Falls, NY  14304.

Interment in North Ridge Cemetery, Town of Cambria, NY.
